North Side History

Established in 1927 and masterfully designed by the renowned architect Charles R. Weatherhogg (1872–1937), North Side High School is steeped in history and committed to providing exceptional education. The school's gym, once the home of the Fort Wayne Pistons of the Basketball Association of America (later the National Basketball Association) from 1941 to 1952, stands as a testament to its rich heritage.

Schools of Success
North Side High School is proud to host the three Schools of Success powered by Junior Achievement 3DE. These programs integrate career and technical-based experiences into the curriculum, equipping students with skills to thrive in a global society. Emphasizing the interconnectedness of people, the program connects students to local community businesses and industries. It provides students with coaching and on-site visits with some of the top businesses and employers in Northeast Indiana.
